It’s almost here!
That’s right, our 5th vegan bake sale is coming up this Saturday, so start saving those piles of loose change you’ve got collecting in your pockets.
Every year us Calgary folks like to take part in the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale and every year gets bigger and badder then the previous. This year we’ve got a whole schwackload of fabulous people who have offered to bake all kinds of sweet and savory offerings. Plus our raffle is going to be even bigger then last years, with donations from awesome business like Go Max Go, Gardein, Saje Natural Wellness, Kicking Horse Coffee, Untamed Feast, Amy’s Kitchen, Community Natural Foods and so many more!!This year, every 5 cents raised (remember we got rid of the penny ;P) will be handed over to two amazing organizations that are fighting to make a difference in the world. R.A.S.T.A. Rescue and Sanctuary for Threatened Animals, which is a non-profit organization committed to providing lifelong care to abandoned and abused animals, and the Alberta Spay and Neuter Task Force, a non-profit group that provides high volume, high quality volunteer-run spay and neuter clinics and education for Alberta’s First Nations by invitation.
If you’d like to help out these fantastic charities, let everyone know about the sale this weekend by sharing our Facebook event! I also totally condone some friendly friend harassing… at this point I’m pretty my friends will just pay me to stop talking about it 😉
